Working and the Breastfeeding Mother

The staff of the BRC can not only help breastfeeding mothers with their Back-To-Work Planning Sessions, but you can get the expertise advise in order to purchase the right breastpump, storage containers and other helpful products when returning to work.

Good latch and positioning is the key to breastfeeding success. Bringing your baby to breast level is the first start. The My Breast Friend Nursing Pillow would benefit any breastfeeding mother. Be sure to seek the advice of the BRC staff to see which pillow will work best for you. One size does not fit all!

A well fitting bra helps with breastfeeding comfort too! Did you realize 3 out of 4 women are wearing the wrong size bra? We have certified bra fitters at the BRC to assist you in getting the right size!

Slings to help with discreet breastfeeding or that fussy baby! The BRC loves getting mothers off to a good start with breastfeeding and keeping them together for as long as possible.  Nothing brings parents and babies together like BABYWEARING!

ERGObaby carrier: $105.

The ERGObaby carrier works from infancy to toddlerhood.  This product allows you to be hands free while carrying your baby.  Baby wearing satisfies your baby’s needs to be close to you, promotes bonding between you and your baby, and allows you to travel easily and lets your child experience the world right there with you.

If your baby can’t hold their head up yet, you’ll need to purchase the infant insert also which allows you to use it like the traditional sling.
