Babies of the Month for 2012!

Molly is the first baby of the month in 2012! She was full and happy after her 4 oz meal and loved trying out the Mai Tai carrier!

Babies of the Month for 2011!

This was Jackson's first time at the breast. I couldn't resist this picture. Look at that milk coma!Lanai was just so beautiful, we couldn't resist! She is 3 weeks old here and looks like she just had Thanksgiving dinner!Sasha's head of hair is what convinced me that she was the winner this month!April's Baby of the Month is Charlotte! She's ready for opening day!
Gabe was sooo happy after his visit. He sat quietly and contently as his mom tried on some nursing tanks. What a sweetie!SaMya came to visit us when her mom was returning her pump. She still loves to breastfeed! See... she's beautiful AND smart!I couldn't resist this smile! Declan stole my heart for July's Baby of the Month!Louisa was such a happy little girl, I just had to take her picture! Her sister, Willa, was very well behaved, but looks very serious here!
I think the reason is totally obvious why Liya is this month's Baby of the Month. Beautiful!!Mr. Ryan James was born 10 weeks early! Mom has done a great job of keeping her milk supply going for him. Now Ryan needs to learn to take it directly from the tap! What a cutie!Thanks to Nicholas' mom for letting me come to their house to take some educational videos! Don't you love his hair?Cyrus is our December Baby of the Month! His Christmas suit and his cute grin get him this honor!

Babies of the month for 2010!

Nate is January's baby of the month. We chose him because he was the Cooper is February's Baby of the Month. Cooper is the son of one of our Board of Directors! His mom contributes so much to the BRC, he just had to win!Sage is March's Baby of the Month. Sage was also born to one of our board members. Board meetings are getting pretty crowded...but much more fun!Brayden is April's baby of the month! Although Brayden's mom struggled with supply, he loved breastfeeding so much, he's still doing it today at 11 months old!
Gianna is May's Baby of the Month! Yet another child of a BRC board member! Be careful, pregnancy seems to be catchy on our board!This is Jack! I couldn't resist this shot with mom's tatoo!Niara is July's Baby of the Month. When she came in wearing this cute sundress, I just couldn't resist taking a picture!Hana is August's Baby of the Month! This is a dedication to all working mothers who are able to continue breastfeeding after returning to work like Hana's mom!
Nakayla is September's Baby of the Month! Nakayla was such a beauty and her mom got the gold star for the day for the most determined mother! Great job!Kacey is October Baby of the Month! Her stylish hat won her this honor!Well, I think it's obvious why Milan is our November Baby of the Month! So kissable!And the last month of the year goes to.... Pierce! I think it's obvious why Pierce was chosen. Just look at that hat! Pierce is 3 days old and made it to the BRC on a very cold day!

Babies of the month for 2009!

December Baby of the Month: Four month old Jack stopped in for a quick weight check; he is growing well on mommy's milk. Jack has enjoyed hanging out at the BRC since he was a newborn. He likes to stretch out at Mommy and Baby Yoga classes.November Baby of the Month: Jacob's mom is going back to work and needed some suggestions from the BRC.October Baby Of The Month: We couldn't resist Max's rolls! Here he is at 3 months weighing in at over 16 pounds!September Baby of the Month: Kameron and her mom came to the BRC to make sure everything was going well with breastfeeding. Judging by those nice round cheeks and that satisfied look, breastfeeding is going just fine!August Baby of the Month: Jordan came to the BRC with her mom to get back on the breast. With some helpful tips and a plan, Jordan and her mom left the BRC confident!July Baby of the Month: Jack is the second child of our BRC intern Jen. Here he is satisfied after a good meal!
June Baby of the Month: Caleb's sisters are BRC alumni and they both made it to the BRC website, so we thought it only fitting that Caleb receives this month's honor! He's shown here with Emily.May Baby of the Month: Namdi was born on May 15th. He has a big sister that also came to the BRC for help. Mom came in quickly at the first sign of trouble and now Namdi is doing beautifully. Here you can see him staring lovingly into his mother's eyes.January Baby of the Month: Anthony was giving his mother a hard time with latching, but with some suggestions, he did great!February Baby of the Month: Hannah, sporting her beautifully round cheeks came to participate in our weekly support group meeting. She is now 4 months old and continues to breastfeed happily after visiting us when she was 9 days old.March Baby of the Month: Chase was born in December. His poor mother couldn't get him to latch on and take milk. The lactation consultant working with them also had trouble. After developing a plan to keep mom's milk supply going, mom worked hard and keptApril Baby of the Month: Jessica has been hanging around the BRC for quite a while. She and her mother came to visit one of our support group meetings. You just can't resist taking a picture of that cute face!
